Borrello Graham Lawyers are extremely proud to announce that Principal, James Graham was named as a winner at the Business News 2017, 40under40 Awards gala awards dinner held at Crown Perth last night.
The Business News WA 40under40 Awards recognises Western Australia’s 40 leading business entrepreneurs under the age of 40. The Awards recognise not only the individual’s professional achievements, but consider their determination, commercial drive, philanthropic pursuits as well as the sometimes less public contributions to Western Australia.
James started his own law firm in 2014 at the age of 28, with a small loan from his grandmother. He took a risk and knew that his hard work and determination would pay off. Within a year, he had grown the firm to include a busy staff of 5 people, assisting clients ranging from small local businesses to large corporate and ASX listed companies with litigation and dispute resolution matters.
Having built a sound reputation within the legal fraternity and with clients, despite his age, James sought to continue to grow the firm. In August 2015, the firm merged to form Borrello Graham Lawyers one of Western Australia’s fastest growing law firms. Over the past 18 months, Borrello Graham Lawyers has almost doubled in size, with 3 offices locally and interstate. Borrello Graham Lawyers now has a staff of over 30 people across a number of core practice areas.
James continues as a Principal at Borrello Graham Lawyers, leading the Litigation & Dispute resolution team while also pursuing other entrepreneurial ventures. He has patented a software concept related to legal practice that is currently under development and expected to reach commercialisation within 12 months.
Behind the scenes, James is significantly involved in assisting a number of community organisations and causes and can always be counted on to steps up to offer his time and counsel.
